Inspired by Ancient Egypt, history, architecture and the mysteries surrounding what may lie beyond the visible world, Beneath the Surface combines a recognisable Egyptian landscape with an imagined world hidden beneath it.

Above the surface, monumental pyramids and ancient architecture rise across the landscape. Below, an entirely imagined realm unfolds - filled with mysterious structures, symbolic forms and a sense of discovery.

Rather than presenting a historical reconstruction, I wanted to create a world that encourages curiosity and imagination. The painting explores our fascination with ancient civilisations, unanswered questions and the possibility that there is always more to discover beneath what we first see.

Beneath the Surface is an invitation to look a little closer, imagine a little further, and create your own interpretation of what might lie hidden below.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of matt varnish. The painting is unframed.

UK prints are sent 24 hours tracked, EU is 3-8 working days and rest of world would be between 4-12 working days (EU and worldwide times can vary).

RETURNS

 We have a 14-day return policy on eligible products, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to contact us for a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, carefully secured and packed In its original packaging.
